John Washington III Says Gatekeeping Pushes Independent Voices Out and Calls for Peaceful, Constitutional Change (New Jersey Garden News)

John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, says the corrupt political system needs to be exposed. In his post, John Washington III asked who decides who gets put in front of the cameras, and who gets the money, the endorsements and the publicity. He asked why independent voices get pushed out while their ideas get taken. "They won't stand behind us, but they'll hand our ideas to their chosen puppets on a string," John Washington III wrote. "That's not democracy, that's gatekeeping."

John Washington III called for change - and specified the kind. "I'm calling for change, for peaceful, constitutional change, to build a new government that actually works for the people," he wrote. He pointed to the Declaration of Independence, which he noted says that when a government becomes destructive of the people's rights, the people can alter or abolish it.

John Washington III closed with an appeal for unity around that project. "Let's come together and build something that serves the people, not the powerful," he wrote.
