Camden County's Roadwork Week: Evesham Road Closes in Full, Haddon Avenue Shuts in Sections — and Most Daytime Crews Return Wednesday
The county's November 2–6 list closes Evesham Road between Gloucester Township and Runnemede and shuts stretches of Haddon Avenue in Camden, while most daytime projects list Monday and Wednesday-to-Friday hours.

Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of November 2 to November 6, the county announced, and the list is headed by two full closures. Evesham Road will be fully closed between the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township and West Clements Bridge Road, Route 41, in Runnemede on Monday and again Wednesday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. In Camden, Haddon Avenue carries a full closure between Kaighn Avenue and Atlantic Avenue from Monday to Friday, a second full closure between Atlantic Avenue and Whitman Avenue from Monday to Thursday, and a lane shift between Walnut Avenue and Kaighn Avenue.
The rest of the daytime list follows the same Monday-and-Wednesday-to-Friday rhythm in most towns, as the county published it: East Atlantic Avenue has a lane closure between Audubon and Haddon Heights; River Avenue and State Street in Camden are fully closed on their stretches; White Horse Avenue shifts lanes between Clementon and Lindenwold before a partial eastbound closure Thursday and Friday; and full closures are listed for West Branch Avenue in Pine Hill and Clementon Road East in Gibbsboro on their scheduled days. One project runs at night instead: Cropwell Road in Cherry Hill closes in full between Marlowe Road and Kresson Road from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday to Friday — with an 8 p.m. start on Tuesday night.
Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists in the county's release to plan ahead, take alternate routes, give themselves plenty of time, and slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris in construction areas. The county's Public Works Department maintains over 1,200 miles of county roadway, more than 200 bridges and several dams. Drivers heading to the polls on Tuesday will find most — though not all — of the daytime county projects off the list for the day; the closures that do run, and every project from Wednesday on, are on the county's published schedule.
